How long will I love you?
'Til my breath is nil, 'til my heart lies still;
'Til the sun won't shine, and words won't rhyme;
'Til the flowers don't bloom, 'til there is no moon;
'Til the ocean turns dry, and the clouds won't cry;
'Til the birds don't fly, 'til our minds don't sigh,
'Til the trees don't lift their limbs to pray,
and the dawn of night won't change to day.
And even then my heart portends.....
my love for you will know no end.

REINCARNATION
I knew you in another time...
we lived and laughed and loved,
we walked the fields of clover,
and sat by waters that moved.
Our minds and hearts behaved as one...
our bodies knew the other well.
Our thoughts and wishes intertwined.
Ah, Yes! The stars could tell!
And then, through Fate, and space and time...
again, our eyes collide!
We knew from that first moment
that in this world so wide....
that we were meant to happen -
the stars had planned it so.
Two hearts and lives that beat as one -
the stars remembered - long ago.

Forget-Me-Not
When I am gone, forget me not - for I will love you until
the stars don't glitter in the sky and the moon won't crest the hill.
But don't be sad and heavy-hearted for I'll be walking beside you still.
I'll be the breeze that cools your brow when the summer sun is hot.
Look for me in the dreamy blue of the shy forget-me-not.
Know that my love is as wide as the sky that horizons cannot blot.
When the butterfly opens its graceful wings, and the hummingbird sips its nectar sweet;
as the seashell whispers its secret soft, and the dolphin plays in the ocean deep...
Don't be sad, be thankful and glad for the time we had, and don't weep.
Know when the brash daffodils appear that our love was that strong and free.
When the white snows cover the riverbed, and the lakes by the spring-fresh rains are fed;
when the sunset skies are yellow and red, feel my love's warm touch - and remember me.

LOVE and TIME
Sometimes happy, sometimes sad - I had settled into Life;
had a home, had some friends - days went by with little strife.
I assumed that Love had flown out of my life for true -
but, oh, my joy when I found you - you entered out of the blue!
All of a sudden - Love rushed in - and took me by the hand;
she led me down a pathway that changed everything I'd planned!
Through flowers and through thistles, and rainbows of each hue,
past smiles and tears and laughter - emotions old and new.
I felt as though I'd known you, Dear, forever and a day -
and yet each thing we did was new - each path a different way.
We've walked together in the rain, and revelled in the sun;
we've learned by leaning on each other, all our fears to overcome.
Through all the tears and pain and hurt, I never thought I'd find
a love as warm and tender, and lasting for all time.
I knew when first I saw you that we had loved before -
another time - another place - we loved in days of yore.
Through time and space, through years and miles, we travelled on our way -
to just that instant lives collide - and choose to love and stay.
The angels probably dance and sing, and clap their hands in glee,
when such as we find one another, and know we're meant to be.

YOURS
When the last breath of life from my body has waned,
and my hands are as cold as the deep winter's rain;
when eyes that gazed on you no longer see light,
and darkness descends as a black moonless night;
when steps that always ran quickly to you
no longer can follow the pathway they knew -
My heart will still yearn, and my love will yet turn to you.
When the bright sun no longer can warm my soul deep,
when the wild ocean waves can't make my heart leap;
when the sunrise awakes to a day when I'm gone,
and my senses can't look on the beautiful dawn;
when the pale golden moon that sees all and tells none
climbs up from the netherlands where dreams come from.....
my heart will still cry, and my love will still fly to you.

The photo of the beautiful view in the center of the page is of Yosemite Park
taken in 1962;
the two falls, Nevada Falls and Vernal Falls;
it was taken from Glacier Point, down into the valley.
And it was taken with a Brownie camera!!!!!!
